What happens when you flag something

1. The flag goes to the whole staff group at once, not to one person. You are not identified to the author.
2. A post with enough flags is hidden automatically pending review, which is a holding action rather than a verdict.
3. A staff member reads it, decides, and writes the entry that appears in the log — including when the decision is to do nothing.
4. If it is restored, the restoration is logged too. 15 of the hidden posts in this log were put back.

What makes a flag useful

Cite the rule. "R6, names a supplier and alleges substitution with no batch or method attached" is actionable in a minute. "This is awful" needs a conversation before anything can happen.
