1. What this site is

The Peptide Commons is an independent public discussion forum run by volunteers. It is not affiliated with any manufacturer, pharmacy, laboratory or supplier. It sells nothing, brokers nothing, and takes no commission on anything.

2. Nothing here is professional advice

Everything on the site is the opinion and experience of the member who posted it. No medical, pharmaceutical, legal or financial relationship is created by reading or posting. Several compounds discussed are sold for research use only and are not approved for human use. The disclaimer forms part of these terms.

3. Using the site

Reading requires nothing. Posting requires an account and acceptance of the community guidelines, which form part of these terms. You are responsible for what you post and for your own credentials.

4. What you may not post

Anything unlawful; anyone's personal information, including your own; supplier links, prices, payment details or messaging handles; falsified documents or test results; undisclosed promotional content; or anything intended to arrange a transaction through the site.

5. Your content

You keep the rights to what you write. By posting you grant the site a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to display, archive and format it here, and — for posts marked as community wiki — to allow other trusted members to edit them. That licence is what keeps the archive and the documentation coherent, and it survives your account being closed.

6. The archive

Topics are not deleted as a matter of policy. Rule-breaking posts are hidden with a note; whole topics are removed only for unlawful content or personal information. If you close your account your posts remain, attributed to your handle. Post on that basis.

7. Moderation

Staff may edit, hide, close, move, unlist or revert content, and may silence or remove accounts, under the guidelines. Every action is logged publicly and may be disputed in the meta category. Staff are volunteers and are not obliged to respond on any timescale.

8. Sponsorship

The site carries labelled sponsor placements. Sponsors buy placement only and have no editorial influence over topics, documents, vendor pages, moderation or these terms. See funding.

9. Availability and accuracy

Provided as it is, with no warranty of availability, accuracy, completeness or fitness for any purpose. Content ages: prices, availability and supplier assessments in older topics are historical records and are frequently wrong now.

10. Limitation

To the fullest extent the law allows, neither the site nor its volunteers is liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, anything posted here. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Changes

These terms may change. Substantive changes are announced in meta rather than quietly applied, and the revision date above is updated.
