Sharps disposal is the part of this that gets least attention and is genuinely a legal question in some jurisdictions rather than a matter of preference.
This is the sort of thing that ought to be settled and apparently is not.

Rotate on a fixed sequence rather than choosing each week. A sequence you follow beats a scheme you improvise, and it produces a record you can read back.
I would want to see it done twice before believing it once.
