Regional stock shortens the exposure window more than any packing improvement and is the practical argument for it beyond speed.

Where I would push back on the regional warehouse stock versus direct consensus is the confidence, not the direction. The direction looks right. The confidence is borrowed.

Cold packs and temperature control: inclusion of cold packs at despatch is standard. Whether they maintain temperature through transit depends on journey duration and ambient temperature. Long journeys through warm climates put product at risk.
