One lot is one lot: when a report becomes a pattern — the long version posts 151–153

This is a continuation of a long topic, addressed by post number rather than by page. Start at post 1.

On post #147 — agreed on the reasoning, with one qualification.

What "verified" means on our pages: specific lots were independently measured on stated dates by named services and results were consistent with the supplier's documentation. It is not a recommendation and does not extend to untested lots.

j.castellanos, post #109: Pattern across lots: a single result is a data point. Three or four results from the same supplier showing a consistent pattern becomes a record worth discussing. Two results that disagree might just be measurement variation. Go to post

post #151 answers the question as asked. The question underneath it is different.

Disputed records: when a result disagreed and was not explained, the record says disputed and stays that way. We do not remove inconvenient history; we document it.

This topic was closed 45 days after the last reply. Closing is automatic for quiet topics so that a settled answer does not collect new questions underneath it. If you have a follow-up, open a new topic and link back to this one — that keeps both readable and gives your question its own title.
Moved from Regulatory by t.vasquez. Category placement is not obvious from outside and getting it wrong is expected. This topic will get better answers here. The move is recorded in the public log citing R7.
