A question about pricing far outside the range that I think has a definite answer, unlike most of what I ask here.

I have the reasoning below and I am fairly confident about the direction. I am not confident about the size, and the size is what the decision turns on.

This follows the opening post rather than contradicting it.

Pricing far outside the range came up in a thread eighteen months ago and was answered well. I cannot find it, which is itself the problem, so here is the reconstruction.
